Mini Classic Turkeys

Our Mini Classic Turkeys thrive in our outdoor regenerative farm operations. The way our small scale sustainable turkey is raised results in a far superior tasting bird. Outdoor living conditions and their ability to eat a naturally diverse diet of bugs and insects supplemented by a quality feed changes their flavor and fat content.

Why Choose Pasture Raised Turkey

The nutrition of the meat we eat is directly related to the animal's diet. That is why, at Sterling Hill Farm, we choose to raise all of our animals outdoors, free to range on pasture, as nature intended.

Health Benefits

Pasture raised turkey is much higher in Omega-3's than traditional corn fed turkey.

Pasture Raised Turkeys are an integral part of our farm’s ecosystem. On pasture with regular rotation, turkeys provide invaluable organic fertilizer to our soil. Their grazing stimulates plant growth and builds soil; and their foraging balances the insect population.
We supplement their diet with our own custom blend of seeds and grains.

Our custom feed mix is free from corn, and therefore much lower in Omega-6's.

Environmental Benefits

Eating a healthy diet rich in omega-3 fats supports healthy brain and heart function, as well as reduces inflammation in the body. These health benefits can aid in prevention against chronic illnesses such as heart disease, cancer, and arthritis.
